Man treated for head injuries after falling from scaffolding in Cowlinge
A man was taken to hospital with head injuries after falling from a scaffolding tower in Cowlinge.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call just after 2pm today to a man who had fallen around six metres from scaffolding off Newmarket Road, Cowlinge.
An ambulance crew, East Anglian Air Ambulance, and doctor from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service attended.
They treated a man in his 40s who had a cut to the head and was not alert so he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
